andi thomas, executive director. Andi is widely known for her vision, project development and communication skills.  She administers all facets of the organization working closely with volunteers, staff and Board of Directors to achieve the organization’s mission. Andi is an HCV Survivor.  Dial extension 101.  5 9 More…..

lauren, office coordinator.  Lauren is the “go-to” person, ready to help staff and administration every way. Her sunny personality and attention to details ensure the highest quality services.  Her tireless efforts make it possible for staff and clients to have everything they need to 'get the job done'.  Dial extension 111.

jess, associate development director. Jess was recently promoted from office coordinator to associate development director. Jess has extensive history with the organization and advertising/marketing expertise, which makes her the ideal person to work with our consultant and board of directors to launch the fund development division.  Dial extension 103.

jon, project coordinator / health educator. Young and dynamic, Jon has the uncanny ability to connect with everyone he meets. He coordinates all project/field-related activities from civic club presentations to health fairs to group training. Jon makes sure information about viral hepatitis and HIV reach far into our community. Dial 105.

carmen, case manager / linkage coordinator / support group facilitator. Carmen runs the Bridges to Treatment program, provides HCV support, and is the linkage coordinator for all people who test positive and need care. Clients proclaim Carmen an angel on earth.  Dial extension 109 (Eng/Span).

liz, LPN/linkage coordinator.  Liz is the LPN in charge of 123-NoMi vaccination program services. Her background in practical nursing and her sweet personality are a great combination.  Dial extension 104 (Eng/Span).

honey, senior HCV hotline counselor. Honey has been staffing the National Hotline since it’s inception in 1999.  People from all over the world have written their thanks her for her support and encouragement. Not many people know, but Honey is Andi's mother and Jessi's grandmother. Honey is 77 years young and a cancer survivor. For a little bit of "chicken soup for your soul" - dial extension 107.

 cody, intake counselor.  Cody is the first person our clients meet when they come into the office. He prepares clients for their visit with the counselors and makes sure everyone gets the services they need.  Cody recently replaced Jordan and Sade, who are moving up in the agency from Intake to Counseling positions. Dial extension 100.

dominick, counselor.  Dominic, a psychology major at FAU,  is among our newer counselors.  He received our new motivational interviewing training, and has inspired many clients to maintain their health. 

jordon, counselor.  Jordon was promoted Intake to Counseling a few months ago. While we'll miss his smiling face and  organizational skills in the intake area, Jordon is ready for the next step in his career at ALERT Health.

sade, counselor.  Sade, another psychology major was promoted from Intake to Counseling recently. Sade is smart and friendly - a great combination for the position she just left and the one she's moving into! 
 

brandy, laboratory counselor.  Brandy is a certified medical assistant with 'hands-of-gold' when it comes to drawing blood. She's responsible for all the lab activity, including collecting and processing specimens, conducting rapid testing, and quality assurance. Dial extension 108. (Eng/Creole)

phil, support group facilitator. Phil (a.k.a. “Doctor Phil”) facilitates Hep-C ALERT/ALERT Health’s longest running Support Group in Broward County. A great guy with a ton of knowledge about hepatitis C. Dial extension 0 to leave Phil a message.
